Tiger Stadium Question.

If some company/person wanted to donate LSU a shite load of money and re-build Tiger Stadium would you be for it?

NO. Use the money the renovate the one we already have without changing the exterior architecture too much. Definitely put some hotel rooms where the dorms used to be.

I would be for it, if they used the same exact architecture for the bowl.
I want the arches that are on the west/east/north ends to be replicated in the south endzone.
Then, I would love to have the upper decks external facing sides be made to look like the bowl also.
and make the internal concourse 1000000000x nicer than it is now.
and then...something like the Lawton Room, but much much bigger, that houses every single bowl trophy, championship trophy, pictures of All-Americans, list of All-SEC players. Even in the Football operations center, I feel like the trophy display is done somewhat half-assed.
Something like USC's or tOSU's trophy room.
Also...somehow incorporate some type of wall space inside Tiger Stadium, that allows us to prominently display our SEC Championship years, National Championship years, retired players #'s (2 at the mo)., and then some wall area directly across where the opponents come out and have it say "Welcome to Death Valley" in HUGE arse font...not like how it is on the scoreboard now.

Definitely agree. I think it maybe one of the ugliest stadiums in the SEC now with that grey tile on the upper deck. It looked better before they re-did it.

I agree with whoever said re do the dorm area and put in a hotel. The athletic Dept is missing the boat on that. With all the consecutive years of good teams they are way behind on capturing the extra revenue IMO. The Cook sells out for every home game for sure.

That's what I've been saying for a while. You have a huge wall between the west upper and west bowl and you can't figure out that that would be the prime location for a nice "Welcome to Death Valley" sign. The sign on the scoreboard doesn't do the stadium (or the old sign) justice. And we don't need a huge donor for that. Just a few gallons of paint.
