when his contract expires.
Their arguments:
he wants to win and plays for a shitty team (which i started laughing)
he can win MVP in another town
he's lieing when he says he loves NOLA
the hornets arent trying to win just make money

my arguments:
they took the NBA champion spurs to 7 games last year and made the playoffs this year, so they arent a shitty team
he won second in mvp voting so i think he could win it in NOLA
they are trying to win by aquiring players like Peja and Posey

i think its more of they dont like the hornets and they wish this would happen.

ps: they are bandwagon lakers fans

I agree that he won't leave, but a lot of the points you just made are dumb as hell.

Well, neither of ya'll know shite about what he is thinking so it's pointless but I do like the thread cause I am going to enjoy the Hornetards coming out to tell you your friend is an idiot.

The MLE doesn't count against the cap, right?

His friend is wrong I think because I don't think Paul will leave.

But his points were terrible. Paul will never win an MVP in New Orleans. Not as long as LeBron and Wade and Howard are in the league. They Hornets will have to finish with the best record in the west for him to win it, and they aren't close to doing that any time soon. Plus, if he couldn't win the MVP last year with how good of a year he had, and how much the Hornets improved, I don't see him winning one any time soon. Also, the Peja and Posey moves are sucking complete dick right now. And the Hornets are gonna have to get rid of some players real soon to make some cap room, to MAKE MONEY.

He can definitely succeed if he goes elsewhere; however, he solidly embraced by the area. I think the Hornets bend over backwards to keep him. If they don't have a competitive team for him to be a part of I would expect him to leave.

I don't think the Hornets want to use the MLE on a guy who has been with 4 different teams in 5 years. He had a good year this year but I would hate it if the Rockets gave him 6mm per because of it.

What team is a PG away from a title and can offer him a max contract anyway?
