or perhaps a new team to display his true raw- talent. Check out this article on Russell's struggles in the NFL.

Jamarcus is doomed in Oakland. Al Davis will drive him into the ground.

Greg Knapp is the worst OC in the game. I think he got the boot though when Cable took over.

didn't Rich Gannon win the NFL MVP and lead the Raiders to the Super Bowl not 7 years ago? Jamarcus can't use playing in Oakland as an excuse.

Do you even know what the hell your talking about?

I've always said that lack of touch and lack of work ethic would be the story of JR's underachieving career.

yeah JR lacked touched, thats why he had a 68% completion rate his jr yr at LSU.
How about he only started 16 games and is 23yrs old, the youngest starting QB in the NFL.
13td/8int in 15 games.

I'm still waiting on your retarded arse to tell me what you're laughing at. But while I have your attention, let me tell you what I know. I know that old arse Rich fricking Gannon went to 4 Pro Bowls(winning MVP of the game twice), was named to 3 All-Pro teams, and was voted NFL MVP. And he threw for 4,6000+ yards that season. All this within the last 10 years. All playing for the Oakland Raiders. Who were still owned by Al Davis. Obviously they've gone to shite lately, but to act like it's impossible for a QB to have success there is absurd. JR should not use it as a built-in excuse. He is in control of his own legacy.

have you heard JR make any excuses??
JR havent even made his 24th birthday yet and havent even started his 17th game yet.

You can't disprove/prove touch with a completion percentage. Hell, maybe if he had touch he would've completed 70% of his passes in his junior year.

You know what? You're so right. We should baby him and tell him, "It's okay that you don't work hard. You're on a bad team, and you're young. So it's okay."

Of course not. I guess I'm mainly talking to the people making them for him. I love Jamarcus--he is one of my top 5 favorite players of all time. But whether he is successful in the NFL or not is up to him.

MasonTiger... We can be friends. It's okay though. We're about to be called racists for saying that Jamarcus isn't smart. We obviously must be saying it only because he is black.

But why are you saying it, then? He might be lazy, but nothing he's done on the field points to him being stupid.

Rich Gannon did well there but he had two things JR doesn't have. Rich had experience (not a newcomer like JR) and Rich didn't have this current coacing staff. JR will have to make his own future but it will be difficult.

How about the fact that he is being paid big bucks to turn around a program, and he still refuses to earn his money and sit in a film room and learn? That, my friend, is dumb. Oh, and selfish. Jamarcus needs to sit down and commit himself to putting in the extra hours, the extra reps, and the extra work that is required to be a premier player in the league.
Let me ask you a question. If you were paid that much money and had that much talent, would you be stupid enough to piss it all away?
