Whenever they try to be an outright champion, LSU ruins it. LSU is bad bad bad

They already have a new banner, i bet...to go right next to their 2003 SEC West champions and all the others, including 1962 Latina Magazine National football Champions

We know you guys won what really matered in '03. We also know that you won what mattered this year. We just take credit because that's how the rule is written. As for as this year in baseball, I am only using the SEC champion title to annoy the Bianco haters that were using that as a reason to fire him. I feel that this title is meaningless as soon as regionals begin. So congrats on winning the SEC this year. Maybe we'll EARN that CO title when we beat you guys in the tourney.

Good Luck in the Regionals

Oh and check with the NCAA on that Latina NC. The NCAA does recognize us for 2 NCs, or maybe one, I can't remember. Who cares?

Who hates Bianco?

Dude's a great coach, on the verge of building a monster program at Ole Miss. All you guys needed was the new stadium and this co-championship to take off IMO.

There are some haters. I have always felt that the stadium upgrade would help, but it is ultimately Omaha that we need to gain credit as an elite program. That is where people are starting to get upset. 90% know he's an extremely great hire.

Doesn't matter what the NCAA recognizes, they don't award a trophy...the recognized NC's are since 1936 AP, 1950 UP/UPI/Coaches and 1998 BCS...

Ole Miss is just laying claim to NC's from other polls which there are dozens of them...if LSU did the same LSU could claim 8 NC's...

I've had this conversation with y'all before, and I always end up saying that I give LSU credit for 2003. AP did not. To me, LSU has three NCs. '59, '03, '07. On the same note, AP did not give us the '60 NC. They ended the poll prior to the bowl games and gave it to a Minn. team that did not even win the bowl. Practically everyone else gave us '60. So it's LSU 3 OM 1. If you don't want to count non-AP NCs, then it's 2-0. Personally, I'm more concerned that we haven't won it in my lifetime. We might want to work on that.

Again, good luck getting to Omaha. Go Tigers!

We might need Hoover to solidify a top 8 seed. Other than that, you're right. Neither of us will acheive anything in Hoover. Go Rebs!

Getting to Omaha will be huge for Bianco this season. I think everyone recognizes him as a very good college coach, but being so close and missing it a couple times really fuels the fire for the haters that think he isn't a clutch coach.

The next few weeks will be big for Bianco and OM's baseball program as a whole. I'm just hoping they spread the SEC programs out in the postseason so that we can get multiple teams in Omaha this year.
