The webels and bummers are going to be intolerable this summer.

I like 12 for now. I imagine we'll be in the top 10 by the start of the season. Honestly, I think that if LSU starts in the top 15 and takes care of business, that we'll have as good of a shot as anyone to get a championship nod. I know a lot of people disagree with that and want the highest ranking possible to start the season. Whatever.

My gut still tells me that Ole Miss is going to end up choking in a major way. They will not be able to sneak up on anyone this year. My gut's been wrong before, though.

If vanderbilt goes undefeated, they'll be in the championship. Just stating that any undefeated SEC team will be in the championship(now not in 04) no matter where their starting ranking is

Ole Miss was playing last year with the excitement of a new coach. I wont say they arent talented because that would be a lie... But LSU is way more talented and with an improved defense, losses should come few and far between. Obviously the game to circle will be when Teblow and Cryer come to town.

Yes, but the depths of despair into which the fall from those lofty heights will plunge them will more than compensate.

Pre Season, by the time the polls that matter come out, it will be entirely different. People bow down to Huston Nutt like he is god almighty, five seasons from now and three losing records and they will be looking for a new head coach.

I sure as all holy hell hope your gut is wrong. I don't think the SG's will allow us to run the table and vie for an NC. Something will happen, late season slip to State or LSU, injuries, etc. Something will keep us out of it.

It's all based on that easy arse schedule.

You better get there this year because this is as easy of an SEC schedule Ole Miss will get.

Any SEC team that is decent you have at home and you don't play Georgia or Florida.

One man's "slip" is another man's beatdown.

a "slip" to LSU? You mean a return to order?

What's Ole Miss 2010 schedule like; is it easier or harder?

I'm predicting that "something" will be the fact that Ole Miss was only one game better than LSU last year and lost a first round offensive lineman and defensive lineman to the draft and isn't that good.

I find it funny that LSU keeps getting top 15 rankings "despite its 2008 season" while Ole Miss's only marginally better 2008 season somehow makes them obviously awesome.

It's called the "flavor or the month" syndrome. Ol' Mrs is that flavor right now. Schools like Fl, Ga and LSU or never in that group due to being in the high-rent district every year.

+1. With their offense, they'll be lucky to put up double digits in their opener.
