Thanks for the detailed post, Lynxcat. You seem to be very knowledgeable about recruiting both from LSU's standpoint as well as the national level, so I was wondering if you had heard anything more about Mike Davis taking some additional visits and/or decommitting from LSU since I have heard some rumblings about either scenario on here.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Keys,
At this point, I do not really have anymore information on Davis. I know everyone has been scared about losing his commitment from the moment he committed to the Tigers.
If LSU could get a commitment from Davis' teammate Corey Nelson (#39 in the nation, #3 OLB) then I think it would be a huge step in securing his commitment.
It would not surprise me at all if he decided to take another visit or two, but I would expect LSU to bring him in as his final visit and seal the deal. Time will tell, but with out of state guys you never know until they sign on the dotted line.
I feel fairly confident about his sticking. His comments about how he felt when he cross the MS River were some pretty strong feelings.

In response to Mike Davis, Tiger Rag recently had an article on him, and he said that he was comfortable with his commitment to LSU at this point. His mom believed that he committed too early and he simply said "its my decision". So, although I believe that there is still a chance he decommits over the next 9 months, I think as long as he continues to have good visits to camps and official visits at LSU we will be fine.
