Remember Les will offer and get the player at any position to verbally commit. The numbers will work them selves out. You never know what will happen come signing day!

Maybe this can give LSU a great start at a pipeline to the Tidewater area.

from his high school coach:
quote:

Ocean Lakes coach Chris Scott said Hunter wanted to go to a school where he'd have the opportunity to compete in football and track.
"He's been really good at communicating that to all coaches," Scott said of Hunter's desire to participate in both sports. "And some people have been more understanding about his desires to want to play both sports.
"I know that LSU was one of those schools that would allow him to do both and compete at a very high level in both sports."

VaTech has, up to now, pretty much owned Tidewater. We need to make inroads all along the corridor. Plenty of great athletes who would love to play in the SEC.

Was he recruited for track as well? Or was he recruited for football and will try and join track?

Was wondering if it's like a 2 sport scholly

He's a football recruit who wants to (and will be) a great asset to the track team.

This is one reason that other sports are important to our football program. Yes, I'm sure part of Les doesn't like losing Trindon Holliday from spring football because he's running track, but the track program is what helps us get players like this, so there are definite benefits as well.

Personally, I also like watching LSU players in the Olympics and at other top track and field competitions.

I had an opportunity to be stationed at Langley AFB but passed because of the bad reputation it has. But just because it has a reputation of thugs i still think we should recruit the area im sure there are plenty stand up athletes that we could pull down.

It's the 757!
LINK

quote:

The 757 area code might be the most talented area code in the United States. Yes, Miami, Houston and Los Angeles all may produce more talent overall but all have more than one area code. The 757 was created in 1996 and consists of Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Portsmouth, and Williamsburg. From now on, these cities and all surrounding towns will be known as: The 757

check out the list of players from the aera:

Percy Harvin Plaxico Burress Ronald Curry Al Toon Dwight Stephenson Lawrence Taylor Shawn Springs Dre Bly Allen Iverson Mike Tomlin Ben Watson Bruce Smith Xavier Adibi Jimmy Williams DeAngelo Hall Antoine Beathea Aaron Rouse

Bebe Buell. The 1974 Playmate of the Year

I apologize for the lack of punctuation, but that would have bee too many commas!

To be politically incorrect, there is very high black population in that area. What is sad is how pathetic the high school programs are in Virginia. They actually postpone or cancel the games when there is RAIN.
