Sims may well indeed be the top QB in this class. The thing is, this class of QBs is pretty damn poor. There are multiple QBs from the 09 class that would likely be the #1 QB in this class.
Looking at the list I dont think the Sims ranking is that outrageous...he's the #1 QB but only #58 overall. He's got pretty good talent.

Where are the new QB rankings on Rivals?
It looks like they've shifted some of their rankings, but they haven't finished everything. For example, Eric Reid is listed as 72 in his profile but is still in the 60s on their list. It looks like Jesse Scroggins got his fourth star though and is now in the top 100.

If I'm not mistaken, Phillip Sims didn't actually move up any overall spots.

Go ahead and bag on Pillip Sims. All he did was perform. He had nothing to do with where he was ranked. Keep it up CPA, so I'll have something to rag on you with, when he's picking Auburn's secondary apart in a couple of years.
