Hey guys, I know this is old news but what is the deal with the new contract for the SEC and ESPN.

Are we gonna have to watch more 11am games on ESPN just like they do with the Big 10.

Maybe people who have real lives and who's entire existence and reason for living doesn't revolve around LSU football, that's who.

LSU vs Vanderbilt. C'mon really. Ya gonna schedule a wedding or not based on that game? Maybe if the Tigers were scheduled to play Florida, Alabama, Tennessee or Georgia on my wedding day, I'd take a long hard look and ONLY if the game had already been picked for a CBS/ESPN Primetime Night game, but since most wedding days are picked a year in advance, that's an almost impossible thing to do.

Yeah, I'm gonna piss off my future wife because I just can't miss watching LSU play Vanderbilt. (And maybe not even at Night) Anybody that would do that is absolutely ..........

LSU will play 14 days out of the year.
There are 351 other days to have a stupid wedding.
It dosen't matter who they are playing.

you're future wife should be understanding of the commitment and schedule the weeding during the summer months like a rational sports fanatic would do.

This is the correct answer. She is already running the show, and you aren't even married yet

Seriously, I'd rather not have to schedule a wedding on the day of an LSU game, but if anyone has ever had to schedule one (usually the bride---guys don't do that stuff ), you'll know how far in advance it has to be done and how hard it is to coordinate that with a reception hall. Most churches book dates well in advance.

You might want to include the majority of D-1 football fans. My friends got married up here in VA and scheduled their wedding date in the fall the day the Virginia Tech football schedule came out and did it on the bye week. They aren't even football fans, they just know that the majority of their friends are passionate about Tech football and would be pissed about having to miss the game.
