If Mays runs a 4.35 in the 40 laser times at 235 lbs. then that is absolutely freakish speed. He would be getting in borderline LB size running like a NFL caliber CB.
Berry will run sub 4.4.
I think Berry is a much better player, but Mays could potentially go higher in the draft due to his ability to jump off the page during workouts.

i do too think berry is a better safety.he also played corner when he got to tenn.,berry is a better cover guy than mays also. and what also that is going to help berry is having monte kiffin next year in school.
