He's been practicing at it. It might be too soon for him this weekend, but look for it maybe in an upcoming mid-week game, as a test.

He was warming up at P on wed at the classic. As was RHP Derek Helenihi. Helenihi had a gun from the OF, so at least they both are intriguing. I would think that we'd have to be up by a lot for either to pitch though.

Or down...so as not to waste a regular reliever's arm.

I think we'd see Hanover before either of those two.

Hopefully he can keep his opponent's batting average below his own batting average. If that's the case he'll be kick arse

Shane Youman will be pretty upset if this happens. He enjoys the spot as LSU's token black pitcher

we have a black pitcher?

Shane Youman

Made it to the major leagues on hard work and determination. I saw no potential in him initially but he proved me wrong. Good for him.

Jones was recruited to be a pitcher for us. He throws 91-93 mph LH which is great. He didnt have the grades last year and didnt play. This year they wanted to wait til after football to let him get some work. He has been throwing bullpen and has looked great this week.

Mitchell can be our first ambidextrous pitcher.
