Johnny Damon hit a home run to RF!!

There MUST be something wrong with the Stadium.

Not complaining at all. Maybe JD can have another 25 homerun season like he did his first year in the pinstripes

True, I bet AROD can't wait to get back to play in that stadium.

I'm not a big A-Rod fan but I hope to god he doesn't even fart on first this season...they'll jump all over him about it

I am pretttttty excited to see what he does this season though, he finally seems halfway relaxed.

I would be worried about his mental state though... when he returns it will become a circus. Can he handle that ARoid chants?

Why is Orlando Cabrera trying to bunt his way on base with a guy on 1st, and two outs in the bottom of the 9th?

I understand he has speed, but damn.

Andy wasn't dominant but was pretty efficent...9 hits, 0 Ks but didn't allow a walk. Going 7 innings was a huge plus. He's 2-0, 2.53 and has looked good out the gate so far. Big plays by Gardner in the field/plate and Damon with the bat.

It was the 57th time that Andy/Mo earned a win/save together which tied the all-time win/save combo with the A's Welch/Eck.

Andy has pitched great so far in every start he's made. After the second half of last season, I wasn't sure how effective he would be this year, but I don't think anyone can ask him to pitch any better than he has. Nevermind not striking out anyone today, or giving up 9(I might be wrong) hits. He got out of jams when he needed to, and I'm glad that we can have him as a 4th starter(3rd if Wang doesn't improve).
