Put me down for Letterman...been watching him since 1984 or so. The early years were classic.

He may know some basketball but he comes across as arrogant a-hole who thinks he invented the game.

frick that man go with whatever team you like, who gives a shite if someone thinks it is 'bandwagon'. Nobody fell out the sack being hardcore fans of a team.
Picked all my Pro teams in the late 70s...didn't even know what a bandwagon was back then. Of course winning titles and and a lot of success helped back then but have stuck to those teams ever since.
EDIT: Whatever team you pick at least try and pick a team with a owner/management that is committed to winning and winning it all...at least it makes you feel as a fan like your're not investing time, energy and money into teams that really don't care or far more often really don't have a clue on how to run a franchise.
1st walk-off win at the new stadium. Girardi left CC in a little too long though but hats off to the bullpen for throwing 7.2 innings of scoreless baseball. Didn't take advantage in the 7th inning, bases loaded with no outs and nothing to show for it...not real clutch right there but still ended up with getting the big hit from Melky.
Bring on the Red Sox this weekend!

Should the Lakers get past Utah they take on the Houston-Portland winner. Portland is another team that LA hasn't faired well against on the road dropping the last 8 games there.
Despite the Laker's win/loss record...some teams just play certain teams better or tougher and so many teams will get up to play the Lakers and maybe not so against other teams. It certainly won't be a cakewalk if the Lakers get back to the Finals again.

quote:Agree. Lakers dropped 2 games last year at Utah in the semis and could very well do it again in the next 2 games. Hopefully they'll get at least 1 out of 2.
Doubtful. The Lakers will lose a game in Utah. The Cavs have a better shot, but they will drop games too.
Teams heading into the Finals will not go unblemished, especially in the West.

Andy wasn't dominant but was pretty efficent...9 hits, 0 Ks but didn't allow a walk. Going 7 innings was a huge plus. He's 2-0, 2.53 and has looked good out the gate so far. Big plays by Gardner in the field/plate and Damon with the bat.
It was the 57th time that Andy/Mo earned a win/save together which tied the all-time win/save combo with the A's Welch/Eck.

Awesome 1st quarter, but the rest of the game was just back and forth. The 33 assists were impressive but the 21 turnovers were just way too much. Ariza and Brown each had a very good game.
Lakers get their 11th straight win at home against the Jazz, but have won only 3 of their last 10 in Utah and with Utah being so much better at home the next 2 games should be a war.
