Which QB and which RB was/is better at LSU? Give at least one reason as to why you picked who you picked.

I hope you're kidding. Ofcourse it's Russell and Scott. Winning a championship in college football has as much luck involved as talent to win.

Russell, Scott Talent Wise
Flynn, Hester as far as Heart
Not that Russell & Scott dont have Heart but
it showed with Flynn and Hester. All have had the team in intense Situtions and came though most the time

And Russell didnt show heart? Russell showed more heart/clutchness in his time at LSU than Flynn.
As for Scott, he was arguably the only one on our offense that was even trying. He ran all over the SEC smashing mouths and scoring record-like TDs. Just because Hester is white and slow and still managed to put a 1000 yard season doesnt men Scott had less heart playing on an inferior team and putting up the huge numbers he did.

Amocat1, when it comes down to it, who do you pick?

These threads are the most entertaining threads on the this entire website. I like the back and forth.

I pick Flynn and Hester because you just started this thread so you can call everybody racist no matter what they answer. GFY

Come on... What about
Faulk/Tyler
Faulk/Tyler

I may be the only person ever accused of being racist by defending black players.
But you really do pick Hester and Flynn, so tell me why (other than getting me fired up to where you are amused)

Faulk/Russell, yes. Tyler was entertaining to watch but he's no Russell. No one was Russell. I just wish we didnt have a retarded OC that didnt utilize half the man's talents. Watching him play in the pros, he's one of the most talented to ever play the game, no doubt.

Not gonna touch that one...
Think most people would prefer the National Championship to just really good players.

JR - Better statistically, more talent, achieved the same record despite a MUCH tougher schedule.
Scott - Ran better than Hester at 3 years younger despite having a much worse team.

I don't want any of those guys.
Give me Jarrett Lee and Rockey Duplessis all day every day.

I just like his heart, non-stop motor, moxie, football IQ, team-first attitude, intangibles, leadership, and experience.
