NOLA.com is reporting that the Athletic Department said that LaFell has been made off-limits as far as any interviews are concerned. Of course this has fueled all kinds of rumors as to why?
As long as he catches passes I could care less.

because Gary Crowton handed over play-designing to LaFell who has already drafted almost a full playbook. The staff doesn't want him revealing anything.

Hopefully there's not an issue with somethings that may have gone one during his decision to stay or go to the NFL. It's odd he would be off limits. It is not like he's known for running his mouth about things.

Maybe he is being harassed by the media

I'd make all players off limits. The more people talk, the more likely it is that something stupid will eventually comeo out of their mouth or something will get taken out of context.

Maybe because Miles wants no media pressure on Lafell for the season...just a thought.

I'd only have a select few from each side of the ball eligible to talk to reporters.

yeah LaFell doesn't need the media exposure yet. I have a feeling he's gonna be a great receiver and that he can mentor rueben randle to not mess up like he did when he was young.

Lazare says Miles is "not happy with the way Brandon Lafell has been carrying himself"

Wow. I'd be very surprised if this is true. Most of the guys that come back for their senior year do it in order to set a good example and to have a good senior year experience. Wouldn't make sense for him to come back with a bad attitude.

Might not be a bad attitude. It might be him walking around with a head that is too big. I could see that. Either way, Miles knows what he is doing and how to manage his players so whatever he does, I agree with it.

but sometimes they come back fat and happy thinking they're the shite. Miles is probably trying to keep BL from becoming Demetrius Byrd or RJF.

The article disagrees with you my friend

LaFell, who has built a reputation for delivering straight answers and who did not duck questions during his rocky sophomore season until the coaches made him off-limits
So its not the first time
