FSU's been pretty hot. I don't think I would want them in Baton Rouge.

We could always play for a free ticket to Omaha.

I think LSU should have a higher seed than all of them. But because we do not take all of our game serious enough it may very well cost us before all is said and done. We are losing to teams that we should be beating no matter who on our team is playing. But because this player is playing this one is not the other one is not playing to his ability. Oh! they have a losing record so we can coast tonight and it want mean nothing if we lose. Well follow that link and we have a #5 seed the #1 ranked team for majority of the year is seeded #5 because we have a propinsity to lose to teams that we should not lose to. That hurts your RPI in turn hurts your seeding. Also it could cost us our Super Regional.

you obviously don't follow college baseball outside of LSU

If FSU continues on its hot streak, they will not be a #2 seed in a regional against a top 8 seed.

Yeah, he obviously is the one who doesn't follow baseball outside of LSU. Because people on here think all midweek games are the same and UNC dropping a game to Coastal is like us losing to Nicholls. Fact is that despite all the "upsets" Tuesday and Wednesday, none of the rest of the Top 25 lost to an opponent outside #200 RPI. Last night was the worst loss, by far, of anyone in the past two days. Combine that with our already weak SoS (which only gets weaker for the rest of the season) and our already bad RPI, and we're in trouble as far as a national seed goes if we lose to ULL and Tulane again. Basically, we're closing in on the position where need a first place finish in the conference or we don't get a national seed.

I keep up with all college baseball teams. I watch college game on different tv stations. I had rather watch college baseball games than pro-basketball any day of the week. There are baseball games on just about any night of the week, including replays of the past weekend games that I did not see when they where played. So yes I keep up with college baseball and believe that we have the best team in the nation. The problem is we do not play like it. We had rather play so-so baseball and barelly win or lose our midweek games than show that we are the best team and program in the nation. You do that by having the winning every game attitude.

I don't think anyone said this

I was unaware our RPI is bad, how bad is it, 50? 100?

LSU can easily win the west and finish 2nd in the SEC and get a Super Regional

Saw Eastern Illinois and Illinois (chicago), but didn't see the Illini in there--so far they're 21-10 with that series win over LSU under their belt. Surprised they're not projected in there somewhere...

Yeah, we only dropped 4 spots this morning to RPI #16. For folks like Josh that don't get baseball....that's bad. "But we r #1 in the polls! lolz!"

UGA snuck in with a national seed last year at #17. Just watch what happens to our numbers in the event of another Tulane and ULL loss.

Oh, and I like how we're a lock to win the West when we have to travel to Fayetville. We don't need to worry about midweek games or RPI, "being LSU" will get us a national seed.

The rantards are so delusional it's funny.

If you don't believe the name "LSU" and a new stadium wouldn't help us getting a Super Regional, I don't know what to tell ya
