2 Time and Defending National Champions Bengals of LSU - Eunice Roar to No. 1 in NJCAA DII Baseball...
They got 2 more games this coming week against BRCC (Baton Rouge Community College)...looks like they are primed for another run for the title again...
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 8, 2009) - With 148 poll points and eight of ten first place votes, defending national champion LSU - Eunice (La.) claims the top ranking in second edition of the NJCAA Division II Baseball Poll released today (April 8). The Bengals are winners of 25 of their last 27 contests, including at stretch of 16-straight victories, and boast a team batting average of .370 (6th in NJCAA DII).

I remember last year them being one of the best hitting teams in the country..and Could probably take top 15 in div I in that same category

My good friend Chance Mistric pitched a no hitter this past week for the Bengals. And we graduated high school in 2002. He's like a JUCO Chris Weinke!
