Warhawks sweep Cajuns

ULM wins 7-4 in the second half of the doubleheader to sweep the series.
The Warhawks have won 11 of their last 13 which includes this sweep and a win over Mississippi St. At Arkansas Tuesday and Wednesday.

Lafayette fans got all pissy as they realized they were about to get swept.. 
however, i sat next to an older man for all 3 games who was a ULL fan and we had a great time.. he is an old umpire/football ref and was very cool to talk to during the series..

Congrats Xeno. Yall got us on our worst pitching weekend of the year. Were the umps as bad as it sounded on the radio? Jay said he was terrible for both teams and I could hear everyone booing pretty often.

The one for game 3 was catching hell from both sides.. i dont remember thinking to myself that the umps were ever that bad though.. but me and the one guy i talked about didnt really get caught up in all that..
you guys just had some critical errors, and made some questionable pitches that cost you..
also, had the wind not been blowing in today, ULL could have won both games.. they crushed some balls that the wind kept in..
eta - the All American SS Ben Soignier came in to pitch in the 9th of game 3 with runners on 1st and 2nd and no outs.. ULL didnt have a strike out all game, and he struck out the side to get the save..

Doesnt matter who has best record, the Belt will be a one bid league again. Someone will screw around and win the tourney in Troy that shouldnt, like FAU.

You know 2 teams got in last year right? I think Western Kentucky gets in regardless. If WKU wins the tourney there will only be 1 bid though.

Yeah, we've been relying on the longball a little bit. Will Long made some terrible errors (like always). His error in the first game today led to 2 runs and we lost by 1. With how bad we played, we still could have won all the games, well probably not the first. So I don't the year is over.
We didn't really think we could get an at large bid, we're still young. We'll have to get hot and win the conference tourny.

Did Louisiville get swept???
The only University of Louisiana I know of is the University of Louisiana at Monroe that just pistol whipped the University of Lafayette But We Would Do Anything For People To Call Us Louisiana.
How come there is no mention of Lafayette on their uniform but I've read where it was agreed upon that you could be called Louisiana at Lafayette?
