Just Back from Augusta...Tiger Nation

througout the crowd. Must have counted 25 peeps w/ tiger gear on. Saw only limited sprinkling of other school gear represented, but there was an lsu hat or jacket at every turn it seemed.
BTW, I wore and LSU pull over jacket. Everytime another LSU fan would pass there would be a friendly signal or acknowlegement.
Tiger Nation is huge.

I went to the practice round Monday, wore my LSU Titleist hat...got a ton of "Geaux Tigers"...

I prefer to wear BAMA gear, wait for the TIGAH BAITIN to occur, and then kick em in the nuts and show them my true colors....nah, I am just joking, I travel with LSU gear on!!!

Too bad Toms was unable to qualify, hopefully he can get things worked out and have a good second half of the season. I was really disappointed to see he didn't qualify this year.

Maybe at such a classy event like the Masters most people bench their college shirts, hats, etc...

To be clear, I say university wear on patron from:
Fla State
North Carolina
Va Tech
Auburn
Tennesse
and way more others than I can remember.
But there was a greater preponderance of LSU gear than any other schools.

I love Augusta!! Especially the practive rounds.
Did you get some egg salad sandwiches??
Hard to get tickets, but cheap beer and sandwiches once you are in.
Now as far as the Masters gear(shirts, hats, etc) thats a different story

Was very impressed w/ how organized it was. Also, parking is free and very easy. Walked a couple of hundred yards to gate and that was all. The food is good and cheap. Beer is only 2.50 for a large cup. Tea was 1.50, Cokes and coffee 1.00.
You're right about masters gear. Very pricey. Of course we bought it anyway.

I went to the Saturday round last year - like Heaven on earth - TV in high def does not even do that place justice!! unfreakinreal - any golf fan needs to go at leat one time!

Was there Monday and Tuesday and saw a ton of college gear everywhere. I saw a lot of LSU gear, but also saw the following:
Georgia (expected in that area)
Florida (just as much as LSU)
Michigan State
UNC
Ole Miss
BAMA
Montana State
West Virginia
Clemson
South Carolina
Notre Dame
Auburn
