Sorry in advance if this has been posted already, but....
Does anyone know if the new Star Wars online game will be MAC compatable? I've been trying to research and find this info, but I haven't seen anything anywhere about it. I only have a Macbook Pro, and I must know if I needs to start saving for the Windows OS for my Mac.
Any intel is appreciated

Sorry, but I really have no sympathy for people who buy a mac for the trendy shite associated with it but pitch a bitch when gaming still needs a PC. If you don't fall into that category then sorry, but the rest of you yuppie sheep

I might have to buy a new machine when this come out.
If it is anywhere near as good as LOTRO I'm in trouble.
However, everything I have seen is in such an early phase it is difficult to tell

Yea I'll have to agree with voo on this one. I would never buy a mac for anything other than surfing the web/email box. anything else = Fail.

OK. If I could, I would re-title this "Mac vs PC" thread. Hmmmm, apparently I didn't have enough foresight. I guess my hippie, liberal arse should not have conformed and bought a MAC. Oh well, at least I can brag though, right?
And to ye who says that MAC is PC..... ok, thanks. nobody in this universe knew that. or maybe, just maybe, it's that we have developed certain terminology in this world in order to define products we purchase and other tangible things. Yes, we know that tissue paper for the nose isn't called Kleenex, but we refer to all of it as Kleenex anyway. Guess why. Because it allows us to know what the frick someone is talking about when they say "Kleenex". It also allows us to know what someone is talking about when they say "PC". So stop being so snub and GTFO this thread.
I don't know what I hate worse: a-hole PC users who think all MAC users are snobbish hippies, dickhead MAC users who think anyone who owns a PC is daft, or pussy etymologists who take ever word so damn literally and are so far removed from society that they must correct people whenever they refer to Microsoft based computers as PC (see how 2 syllables is better than 7), tissue as Kleenex, cotton swabs as Q-Tips, bandages as Bandaids, etc, etc, etc....
you all need to take a cocktail of sleeping pills with an appetizer of eating a bullet

I hate people that have to constantly compare macs and PCs. Use what you want, if you don't like the other, don't talk about it.
Anyway.
To answer your question, just look at the companies that's going to be making the game, EA and Bioware.
EA has all the Sims games, Need for Speed series and Spore.
Bioware has KotOR, Neverwinter Nights and Jade Empire.
So I would have to go out on a limb and say that its possible that it will come out for the mac.

Bioware is great btw. They put alot into their games both content and gameplay wise, and it gives me much hope that this game will do what Galaxies failed miserably at.
