According to some media outlets,Chad Lindsay will be announcing today.
Lets keep all the discussion here.
Does anyone know what time and if it will be streamed live? He mentioned some Houston station, but I was not sure

What's the latest on him? There were rumors of him leaning to Bama then of him leaning to LSU. Anyone hear anything in the last day or so?

when he was leaning towards LSU he wasn't good enough for OU, UT, or bama. now that he'll possibly end up at bama he's a "road-grader" and one of the best OG's in texas.

I got a text message from BOL yesterday that said that his announcement had been moved to Monday at 11:00 CST at a ceremony at his school. TIFWIW. I think he's all LSU.

I haven't heard anything that I'd trust as an "inside source" yet... but his proximity and family relationship with LSU seems like too much to step away from, IMO. On top of all that, Bama has never recruited the state of Texas very well, and you guys seem to get your fair share. There is just nothing to make me believe that he'll actually commit to Bama except maybe for the "usual" compliments that recruits give schools. There are a lot of external factors that play very strongly in LSU's favor - and that's why I'm not getting my hopes up. He's going to be a great pick up for you guys though, and of course we'll be ecstatic if he chooses us.

You might be the first Bama fan on here that I actually like 
Seriously though, I've felt the same way and knew about the family ties. Just keep hearing he might not have a commitable offer which i feel would be a shame. I think he is a very good prospect but I know there are a bunch of guys out there that we are interested in. It's refreshing to hear a non-dillusional Bama fan.

Here is my take. He will be a Tiger. NO inside info, just gut feeling. I think he wanted a true comparison to LSU, so he went on a trip to BAMA again.

I've read he wants to be a Tiger but might not have a true offer. It only makes sense with all his ties to LSU. I know that is usually a excuse but it seems to be the case in this. Hes using the early commit to pressure LSU into offering him, basically saying offer me or I'm going to a rival. I don't know if he has a offer or not but just because his list is full of them on Rivals, doesn't mean he actually has "true" offers. LSU might think hes overrated, who knows.

I just talked to a friend who is best friends with Chad Lindsay's mom.
Chad is going to make his college decision Monday, 11:00 a.m. at The Woodlands High School surrounded by his coaches and teammates. Chad spoke, at length, with Coach Porter (LSU) and left a message with Coach Davis (Alabama)regarding the announcement time and place.
My friend (Chad's Mom's best friend) said that Chad's parents feel that there's no downside, it's a win-win for Chad. Both schools are great academic universities, the campuses are beautiful, the facilities are terrific and the football programs are powerhouses!
Despite rumors started by LSU "fans", my friends have been to the Lindsay home and have seen all of the scholarship offer letters that Chad has received. Chad is a great kid and a great player. Any school will be lucky to have him as part of their program.
