Fire in the Sky (based on the true story of alien abduction)

I saw it as a kid and couldn't sleep for a week.

I don't know if it's a horror movie or not, but Dressed to Kill scared me when I was a kid so much that I had to watch the rest of the movie holding a butcher knife AFTER I closed all the shades to the windows.

I'd consider Dressed To Kill horror. I'll go with Scorsese's remake of Cape Fear.

Alien, Aliens, Alien 4, Event Horizon, 28 Days Later, I've seen so many I can't choose. Pretty much anything that fosters the notion of isolation, no where to run, no where to hide, survive by your own wits.

Jaws is not really considered a horror movie...

but I'd have to go with The Exorcist and Carrie.
