in my humble unathletic opinion...

hitting a baseball
pitching a baseball
throwing a football
fielding a baseball
playing ice hockey
gymnastics
golf
diving
Then all the rest.

one of my friends was/is a major league pitcher (john thomson). in the offseason of his rookie year I was in college and he came to visit me and another friend. I just wanted to stand in a batters box and see what it looked like to have a 93mph heater thrown 8 inches away from your nuts.

I didn't even grab a bat because I knew it was futile. He obliged and threw a pitch that I didn't really even see. It was just a blur. There was no way in hell I could have even fouled it off.

Hitting that has got to be the hardest thing in the world.

He later threw me a curve which looked like it was going to hit me square in the head and it ended up almost scraping the ground.

I just wasn't cut out for the SHOW.
