Coleman is just plain nasty. Thought we'd get a comeback there, but Bianco went with his favorite (Button) over Ferguson. Might've not mattered. For all the people complaining after the third strike call, Button should've protected the plate and not put it in the ump's hands.

Here's to a good game tomorrow. Hope we can end our Sunday blues (we're 0-2 this year in SEC series Sundays, and 3-8 last year). How's y'all's freshman starter? We've had a problem with Sunday starters, enough to pull Bittle out of the closer's role and into the Sunday role. IMO, at best he'll be able to go 5-6.

Ross has been pretty good this season. he had a couple of bad innings vs. Illinois and SC, but he's had great poise and is unquestionably our third best starter.

Tomorrow should be a 5-4 type game.

I disagree, respectably. Scott Bittle is our best pitcher, Pomeranz a close call for 2nd, Bittle's last outing was a little off, but he was lights out last year as a closer. He's a first team All-American by almost every organization. He's got good control and, as you'll see tomorrow, some VERY nasty stuff. If LSU gets 8 runs tomorrow, it's because Scott Bittle ran out of gas.

You've gotta be kidding me. That guy's 1-2 with a 5.06 ERA. Alabama put up 19 on y'all last Sunday, get ready for some more of that.

LSU faced Bittle at our worst period last year and put up 5 hits and 4 runs in 4 innings total.

Bittle has been a closer. He's pitched about 10 innings all year. When you have a bad outing or 2 as a closer, it really inflates your ERA.

Bittle did not pitch in the Alabama game last Sunday. Alabama does have one of the best hitting teams in the country though.

LSU may have hit Bittle last year, but the guy is still the best Ole Miss has to offer. Right now, LSU isn't hitting anything particularly well. It will be a tough game for LSU to win.

That looks bad, but guess what? As someone else said, he's been a closer. He's an All-American. He had under 2 ERA last year as a closer and can bring it. He had a tough outing last game, but as I've said before, he's got some nasty stuff and is the best pitcher we have. Pomeranz is a very close second.

There's no secret to it at all, and you don't need to be a guru. I'm not.

Two sites you need:

LunaPic

Photobucket

Just Google yourself some LSU images, use LunaPic to fix 'em like you want, then host 'em on Photobucket!

Bada bing bada boom!

Bittle and Fields were pretty much the best pitchers in the conference last season, weren't they?
