Two blowout losses in the span of a week. Before last week we had a chance at a 2. I'm almost certain we are a 6 now.

Yeah before the loss to Vandy plus an SEC tourney championship we had a chance (again a chance) at a 2. IMO.

Two no- Never would have happened. Even when we went 30-6 a few years ago, we were a 5 or 6 seed.

I think you're right about 6, though.

6 or 7, but I think 6. Look at the teams that would have to jump us at 6.

Any chance we snag a 5 seed with certain teams winning/losing their conference championships??

6 or 7 is right. I think it benefits us if Tennesee lose (not likely). But winning the SEC tourney, along with a touger OOC schedule, will be all justification the committee needs to make them the highest seeded SEC team.

6 is where we want to be.

4 or 5 faces 1 in Sweet 16.

7, 8, 9 or 10 has real tough toss-up first round game then has 1 or 2 in second round.

6 plays 11 which is usually one of the last at large teams to get in and are sometimes not really playing well at the end of the season.

Number 6 seeds are 35-37 against number 3 seeds and have a slightly higher overall winning percentage than number 5 seeds.

Here are all time winning percentages of seeds:

If we get drawn with an at-large Big 10 team, I'd be happy. They can't score at all. We could physically wear them down running up and down the court and force them to score in the 70s (gasp!)

LSU lol keep dreaming and drinking the kool aide. LSU was NEVER A 2 SEED fool not even projected. We are projected as of yesterday at 6. We will be either a 7 or 8. Keep your dreaming alive though.

Damn, I love LSU, but I don't see how this would have ever been possible--hell, at one time, 3 of the 1 seeds were from the Big East, then there's Carolina, ZeroU, Memphis, Dukies, Meeeechegan State, etc. that would be in line for a 2 ahead of the Tigahs.

Tam not after losing today. In fact we probably wont get a 6 seed. Its more that we will get a 7 or 8 seed. If we had won today and the SECT then yes we would have been a 4 or 5.

You're hilarious. You act like a 6th seed would be punishment for finishing poorly. What did you think we'd get if we won today or tomorrow, or at least didn't lose to Vandy and Auburn? I've got news for you. We never would have been any higher than a 4-5 unless we would have won the SEC Tourney AND beaten Vandy and Auburn. Otherwise since we finished with an absolute whimper I think the best we can do now will be a 7th seed. A sixth seed would be great, better than we deserve in my opinion.
