Wade and CP3 aren't even in the discussion. Regardless of whether you agree or not a team's success plays a role. I dunno the last time a player won an MVP award on a team with less than 50 wins but it's been a while. Wade is on a 45 win team and CP3's Hornets have underachieved by their lofty preseason standards.

If Wade did by some miracle win it this year then they should go back and give it to Kobe in the 2005-2006 season.

I realize that Paul may not be in the discussion, but how can you say that Wade isn't in the discussion. No player in the NBA is as hot as Wade is right now. I'm not saying that he will inevitably win, but the topic was "NBA mvp race as of today."

Paul has more PPG, RPG, steals, better Assist/TO ratio, blah, blah, blah, etc.

It's easier to just call you a retard.

Okay... maybe we can throw him in the discussion and as a part of the race.

But he has a 0% shot of winning it. The Heat are 35-29, and that has always played a factor in voting.

If it didn't, Dirk and Nash wouldn't have won MVP's.

Lebron has it all but locked up. Everyone else is just fighting for 2nd-5th, which is irrelevant.
