Do such places exist? Will be there on business during some of March Madness and our group will want to be watching basketball. I know there are quite a few sports bars, but that's gets old in the food department.

We will likely eat in the bar at Mickey Mantle's at least one night. Food is good, but I don't want to eat there every night.

I stayed at the Residence Inn there for 5 weeks and hated that city. I didn't find anything good to eat or hang out. I would try Norman, it can't suck as bad as OKC.

Contrary to the previous posts, there are many good restaurants in OKC. Two of my favorite are Iron Starr BBQ (www.starrbbq.com) and Cheever's Cafe (www.cheeverscafe.com). Iron Starr might be a better place to watch basketball, though. For Mexican, try Ted's Escondido. Charleston's has very good food, as well as, a good bar to watch sports. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I had Iron Starr and Cheever's on my list, but didn't know if they had a bar with a TV. If they've got TVs, I'll try those. I wanted to try Red Prime Steak, also, which is owned by the same folks and has gotten some pretty good reviews. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a TV, though, so we'll see.

Nonna European is near Mickey Mantle's and is also good. Both are pricy but good. Mantle's has darn good steaks and they so grilled king crab legs which are very good. It's a typical upscale steakhouse.

I've eaten a pretty good Mexican restaurant there, also, but I can't recall the name. I remember the St. Pat's parade passing by there once, though, so it must be on a main street. No TV in the bar, though, as I recall.

Thanks. Not willing to go to Norman. You should have tried Nonna's or Mickey Mantle's. Both are very good.

People like the restaurants on Lake Hefner. There is a Louie's up there...would be a great place to watch basketball, but the food is average.

I highly recommend Cheever's and Iron Starr...both are a must. I can't remember if Cheever's has a tv in the bar or not, but the chicken fried steak is worth the trip alone.

If you are looking for an upscale dinner, you'll want to try The Coach House or The Metro Bistro in the Nichols Hills area.

Are you in the oil and gas business?

Thanks. Would love upper scale, but not many of them have TVs, unfortunately. We will probably have to compromise on food to see the games.

Not in the O&G biz. Just attending some meetings located there.

I ate here and it was awful. The steaks have some type of tenderizer on them and the shrimp aren't shrimp but shrimp shapes. It was bad.

Does Zio's have a TV? I'm looking for decent food where we can watch the basketball games.

You must go to Ted's. There are several locations. Ask anyone there, they'll know.
