i don't wanna seem like a noob, but could someone please tell me how dominant our baseball team really is? is it just weak competition or are we really that good. averaging over 12 runs no matter who your opponent is is outstanding. when was the last time we looked so dominant and is this a regular thing for college baseball to have a team doing something like this? or is this something special?

well considering the competition and how the team has hit better every game it seems like, Id say they havent missed a beat since last year.

The main difference is the starting pitching is light years better and the offense is more spread up and down the lineup instead of concentrated like last year

They look good, but it is early and against weak opponents.

Baseball is a funny game sometimes. You can hit slumps, etc. It has a way of humbling you quickly. It's a long season and I see some losses in conference but barring some freak occurence, this team will be tough to beat come SEC and NCAA tournament time.

This team is gonna make winning a Natn'l chmpionshp look waaay to easy.

The gorrilla's of Alex Box are only gonna lose between 5 to 12 games all year, and will also stay at #1 for the rest of the season.

Its pretty sick how LSU got to 8- 0 with such ease.

and fricking please spare me "the weak OOC opponents" speach....were not just winning these OCC games by just a couple of runs. We have outscored our opponent with 99 runs earned and only 21 runs givin up.

Scores:
- 12-3, 6-3, 11-1, 11-5, 13-4, 11-2, 16-0, 19-3 = 99 runs through 8 games which averages to 12 runs a game....thats crazy numbers reagardless of the competition you're up against.

LSU's Outlook

- Ofensive Lineup/Bats (A++) its always raining Homeruns in the Red Stick ....Gorrilla ball is stronger than ever!

- Pitching(B+) experience is helping so look for more improvement.

- Defense(A) Lamahieu at shortstop with Mitchell and Landry keeping the Outfeild on lock down.

I'm taking my money to Vegas before they figure this shite out!

Is there ANYTHING more boring than a 19-3 baseball game?

Wait until we play against some good hitting and good pitching.

So far, we look like a typical Florida St. team who pounds everybody they should.

Until we play real competition, we will have to settle for being the early season #1--

I think we win 30 straight before we lose a game. Write that down.

I agree that the team looks really promising, but I just hate being the front-runner. Being ranked number one and having super high expectations might sound great, but I look at it as there's only one way to go, and that's down. I'd rather be the dark horse and come from nowhere to win it all than have to be leader the whole year.
