Damn, my Popeye's service varies from place to place. BK is just almost always crap.

McDonald's in BR is usually pretty good.

I think I have only been to each of those once and both were bad but BK was better. For the life of me I will NEVER understand how it takes so fricking long to put chicken that is already cooked in a box. When you walk in you just watch them do nothing. The Popeyes on Florida is horrible.. The fricking bitch put her head down and tried to go to sleep after she took my order.. Then ran my card through for 54 cents noticed it was wrong and then even after I told her just to run the difference through she ran the whole total through then had to get a manager to refund my 54 cents. All the while she puts her fricking head down to go back to sleep right by her manager!

It all depends, the McDonalds on Nicholson is vert fast and efficient during the day, but after 8 pm it seems like they cut the effort level down to about 30%.

the taco bell on george o'neal is actually a pretty damn good drive thru .. the one on college might be the best run fast food joint in BR ..

the valuzzos run a pretty efficient ship in all of their locations .. no matter who the employees are .. they are really big on accountability ..

Not even close to the level the Chick Fil A runs at on Millerville. That location may be the best run fast food place I have ever experienced. The second is the Popeyes in Walker..

i think it changes from city to city

when i lived in NOLA, i found subway to be the best

now that i live in mandeville the closest subway ranks behind a backyard burger, quizno's and the mcdonalds

and fwiw- i went to the chick fil a in cortana last thursday and i seriously could not understand 1 word that came out of the cashiers mouth

Did you get a twighlight zone feel at that popeyes too? Everyone was nice the service was fast.. everything was clean and the manager came out while we were eating and asked if everything was ok WHILE she was cleaning an already spotless popeyes then came and took our tray after we were done.. I got out of there before the aliens tried to do an anal probe.

I stopped at a Popeye's in McComb, MS and felt that way once. For one... the employees were mostly white, and the service was top notch. At a fricking Popeye's. That was rather amazing.

Yea go up north and go to ANY FF restaurant.. Its pretty scary what happens when you hire teenagers that just want a part time job rather than people that cant get any other job.

this is your problem here ....

as far as subway .. i have always thought there just needs to be a better, more efficient way to do that shite ... two people just aren't enough behind the counter and the one on jones creek sometimes flies with just one person ... i couldn't stand going around lunchtime .. you have two people in front of you and think you are almost there, then the chick in front of you pulls out the cellphone to get everyone's order from the office ... and no .. none of them can just say "get me a roast beef with tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo" .. all orders are exotic ... i always thought subway should experiment with a two-sided counter with the employees in the middle ...

damn, total opposite in Metairie. The one on Clearview and the one on Vets near causeway are always a guarantedd 20 minute drive in wait.....no matter the time of the day. I went at lunch break one day, it literally took the full hour to go through the drive through and get back to the office. I only worked about 8-10 minutes away. I would have left but i was trapped with the island/bushes.

the Popeye's on Magazine is the one i use and it's usually pretty good....but they also don't have a drive thru. There is a lot less for the poultry submersion technicians to handle.

now i have been to some bad taco bells around here .. just those two seem to stand out ... for whatever reason, dunno if it is my imagination or not, popeye's chicken tastes better to me in NOLA than it does here ... usually the only time i'll eat popeye's is in NOLA ..
