The New Box is nice, & so is South Carolina Baseball stadium

South Carolina's is very nice indeed. I've always though that it looked better than the new box.

No, that's a batters eye. Plainsmen park has a "green monster" in left.
I think each has its benefits. USC's chairbacks is an added plus. I think they tried to get cute with a few things (mini berm, some random box seats really far back down the right side...whereas the box went with good sightlines, ample concourses, nice HD screen, shaded overhang, etc.

I haven't seen LSU's new Alex Box stadium, but I would imagine it still has some projects left in it before completion... The situation reminds me of LSU's new West upper deck when it first came out.

IMO, the only thing better than our stadium is the fold-down seats for everyone. Other than that, I think the New Box owns this one, especially in appearance.

Are those stands next to the scoreboard that are not complete??? OMG, that place is just not ready for baseball yet. No way. I may take a road trip by that place and give you all an update as to whether I think that place will be ready for baseball or not...

yea looks like they were trying to hard...
but if you take those box seats and that huge open area above the right field line, and put some out door kitchen and grills out there, that would be kick arse!

I guess they substituted quantity for quality. FWIW our suites arent that bad....

I think the new box needs the chairbacks down the lines also. Maybe they can do that before next year. I understand them just trying to hurry up and get the stadium ready before the season. Also, i look for more suites to be going up in the new box.

Theyre raising money to add more suites at a later date... I think 8 more. We have gold seats also and Id rather be amongst the crowd.... same with football and sitting in the tiger den suites. FWIW Im not rich... I just married well.

The only thing that I like better about their facility is the playing surface. The turf looks awesome. Why the hell can't LSU get some decent looking turf on any of our fields?
