I remember Tarkenium (however you spell it) was so disgusted after losing 2 years in a row to LSU he vowed never to play another "meaningless game against LSU". LOL All it did was drop him in the rankings slightly both years.

I was at both UNLV and Loyola, they were truly awesome but not #1.
#1 was, believe it or not, a women's preseason game. Texas (the year after their undefeated title season in 85) vs. the USSR (Olympic gold medalists for about a gazillion years). At Texas and down to the wire all the way. Like watching Rocky but for real.
