The worst part of surgery is when they pull those ekg patches off….your chest hair will sound like Velcro!

I remember another LSU player who had the same hamate injury who came back at the end of the 1996 in memorable fashion. But his was early enough that he had an opportunity at the end of the season.

If only I could remember his name.

That baw has that "pain med/anesthesia" hasn't worn off yet smile.

Man I hate this is how his career ended. Homegrown product that was a part of a little bit of everything in his 3 years here. First year's team struggled until they turned it on and almost made a super regional. Then, winning the championship last year. And to this year's team being one of the worst in recent memory.

I think he'll have a good future in the pros. He's got the tools, just needs more at bats and time in the field and he'll be a good one, IMO.
