Stopped at Camille's on 190 last night on our way back from Mamou. We were going to stop at Joe Dryefus but were told it was closed so we opted for Camille's. Food was A+++ but service was slow. My daughter order fried crawfish tails but when they brought it out it was fried crab claws. The waitress said they were out of crawfish tails so they substituted crab fingers. They could have asked...overall food A++ service D. The food was good enough that I would go back.

Last I heard Joe Dryefus' is open again unless you meant that they were just closed for Mardi Gras.

I agree, Joe's hasn't been good in 15 years.

Interesting...I've eaten at Joe's twice in the past 6 weeks and it was very good. I've probably been there about 7 times, since the new owners took over.

Had some great chargrilled oysters there.

Haven't tried Camille's. Will have to consider it.
