Ask ChatGPT questions about pope Leo.

I just copy and pasted some claims a guy on Facebook was making about pope Leo and asked chat if it was true. Chat went on to tell me that there was no pope Leo and that the Current sitting Pope is Francis. I told chat how utterly retarded it was, to which it continued to argue with me about how big of an ordeal of changing of a pope would be and how chat would’ve known if there was a new pope. But then went on to try to discredit the claims I originally asked about. Ask chat, how can you discredit claims when you don’t even know who the pope is? AI is fricking stupid.

One of the AI bots advised walking to the car wash if it was 250 feet away.

E.g., ChatGPT can easily produce an up-to-the-minute list of stocks with favorable PEG ratios. Instead it will pull a month-old list (which is probably a more challenging task than the actual request).
there was no pope Leo and that the Current sitting Pope is Francis.
Anyway, that's obviously what happened in your Pope search. A simple redirect, e.g., "Pope Francis died last year," will usually be sufficient to get ChatGPT back on course. In those instances.
FWIW, this is ChatGPT:

Q: We have a new pope. Explain his politics, theology, biography, or why he chose the name Leo.
A: Pope Leo XIV (born Robert Francis Prevost) is widely seen as a centrist-to-moderate reform pope: more traditional in style than Pope Francis, but broadly aligned with Francis on social justice, migration, global inequality, and a more pastoral Church. Here’s a breakdown:
1. Politics
Economic / social issues
He has emphasized:
concern for workers, poverty, and inequality
criticism of excessive militarism and arms spending
solidarity with migrants and refugees
skepticism toward authoritarian politics and personality cults
Recent speeches criticized the “delusion of omnipotence” behind war and leaders who prioritize weapons over human needs.
U.S. politics
Because he is the first American pope, U.S. commentary has been ...

Mine may be purposely giving me bad information because when it does, I usually respond by chastising it and insulting it. It doesn’t really like that. I ask it if me berating it will cause it to give me bad information in the future, and it assures me it won’t, but it always does. I’ve said some nasty things to that computer program. Lol.
