I want knobs, that's a requirement. And I want it to look nice and be reliable.

I like the look of a ZLine at Home Depot. Is that a good brand?

If you want the best, IMO, get a Wolf.

ZLine
US based company but manufactured and assembled in china. Reviews are varied. My personal opinion is that they look better than they really are.

I think you’ll be surprised at the relatively small difference in price for a US made higher end unit. I know nothing about induction but you should definitely research subzero, wolf, Viking, blue star, cove, etc to get a comparison

We did a remodel 2 years ago and got a Wolf induction. It's badass and would buy again.

I think it’s a bit more than I want to spend. But they’re awesome.

There's a Frigidaire for about $6k

Is that shitty brand these days? I have had reliable Frigidaire stuff in the past.

You can look at Bosch or GE Profile if the premium brands don't fit the budget. Ideally, find a good appliance shop nearby that can service what you purchase. I'm personally not a fan of big box stores when it comes to appliances.

Best brand induction range / oven -
we have an overpriced AGA Elise induction range/oven and its hands-down the BEST oven i have ever used in my entire life.

new to induction so can't compare but i do know it will heat a pot of water to boiling in under a minute.

whats the difference you say? ovens just heat up right?

no this things rocks for baking; impossible to burn anything. something about using radiant heat to lock in moisture but whatever it is, you will never generate better baked goods.

I paid 4500 for a blue star 36” gas range/oven and it is a bad mo’fo. All knobs, no electronics. I’m not sure if induction makes it more expensive but it’s worth a look

That’s an unreal price. When and where did you get that?
