Part of me is excited to see Gavin Newsom win in 2028

So that all of these people complaining about Trump will REALLY have something to complain about.
Big Beautiful Bill, closed border, border wall being finished, deporting illegals, unleashed Oil industry in the US, DEI dismantled, USAID shut down, judicial appointments, successfully captured Maduro and turned Venezuela into our puppet instead of China’s puppet, new trade agreements favorable to the US because of tariffs, S&P 500 hit all time high yesterday, mortgage rates are downtrending, department of education completely reformed, Iran on the brink of being taken off the chess board. . .
Somehow all we hear is complaining.

I don’t want to see him win, but I do want to see him exposed on the national stage when he runs.
He is just slimy enough to turn people to him though, so he is dangerous.

I don’t either but it’ll be a close race. Non stop complaining about Trump for 4 years (even though 95% of what the administration is doing is awesome) will set up Vance for a tough battle.

All Vance and GOP should do is to point out his record in CA. His accumulation of massive debt, the criminal handling of the fires in CA last year, his draconian Covid orders, meanwhile ignoring them for himself and his cohorts, there is so much ammunition of him saying/doing things in his own words that it should be a cake walk.

Most middle of the road voters look at California and see a disaster. And he looks like a James Bond villain. His whole strategy thus far has basically been to imitate Trump and hope that America finds it sincere. Although it seems that these days, the more polarizing you are, the more likely you are to get elected or nominated as president.
