Anybody else here think we might've been duped? China obviously perpetrated a "honey pot" situation with Swalwell, using a Chinese spy named Fang Fang for the purpose of securing secret intelligence.

It will be interesting to see if this situation has indeed been effectively swept under the rug. Not to minimize the matter of sexual abuse, but the matter of giving secret information to a Chinese spy is 100X more egregious.

Remember, the late Semator Diane Feinstein had employed a man who was eventually discovered to have been a Chinese spy for several years. It will be interesting to see if the Swalwell/Fang Fang matter is allowed to simply disappear.

Are the powers-that-be tossing Swalwell overboard over a totally unrelated matter in an attempt to cover up something much, much bigger?

I think there are a lot of layers to this onion. Sadly, all of these guys are corrupt in so many ways that it’s a charcuterie board of choices. The fact that the Fang Fang incident didn’t sink him shows how corrupt the whole system is.

The fact that they are going after him now, with support from the left and their media lapdogs, probably has more to do with the governor’s race than anything else.

Considering the venues are the backyard for these cretins, I wouldn't put much hope in a conviction if it even goes to trial.

However, with that being said - the money grab. Dude doesn't have squat to his name. Apparently only 500K so good luck with getting anything of substance.

You don't go out and hire Lisa Bloom and not expect a payout however. She doesn't work b/c she cares about justice. She wants green.

Wrong. Swalwell is DOA because he’s no longer useful to the uniparty machine. Make no mistake if he was still useful this would be ignored as much as the Fang Fang deal was.
