The last time Ark, Tenn, UF, SC, Vandy and LSU have all been outside the baseball top 20?

Could be talking decades.

Gotta figure LSU alone covers 85-90% of that top 20 ranking.

Tennessee only regularly started getting ranked in the top 20 around 2020.

It’s been a while….

But I bet we don’t finish the season outside of the top 25

And South Carolina.

Certainly we could be looking at 40+ years.

Transfer portal and NIL money. Should be your headline.

And the teams you’re talking about are the haves. It’s the filling of rosters in multiple conferences and perennial mid level teams that is making every game competitive.

Personally, I believe more competition is a good thing. So many good games to watch raises all teams.

I saw an Arkansas post that said “for the 133rd week in a row the Arkansas Razorbacks are recognized in the Top 25. Will they last beyond this week?”

So that’s probably the longest active streak of the teams you’ve mentioned.
