He's effectively Giancarlo Stanton, but in a more critical role on defense. That and Stanton shows up against real competition.

I think it’s more because he rarely produces in the clutch moments. Sure, he gets lots of walks, and gets on base a decent amount.
But… whenever he really needs to come through, with runners on base, he rarely comes through.
Plus… he’s following Two beloved first basemen in Tre Morgan and Bear. They both came through in clutch situations. Yorke just withers.
