Why does blowing the whistle on fraud need encouraging?!
But since it must be done, give them a cut of the fraud they report and CONVICT on. No (or very small) reward if no conviction or some form of punishment to the offender.

We used to have inspectors general who investigated such things.
Too bad 17 of them were fired earlier this term….they could dig into that fraud.

Wonder how the wasted expenses found by DOGE ever escaped the eyes of these 17 intrepid inspectors before they were canned?
