Yeah, the Knicks and Marbury are coming closer to a buyout agreement and would likely join the Celtics soon

Yea, the celtics have been discussing for some time. I think I remember hearing on sc about a week ago that Doc Rivers was just worried it might upset the team's chemistry

I think ultimately it's gonna go down. I also think this is more detrimental than good for them too, so more power to them.

interesting ... a 20 point career guy goes to what's already a top 3 team in the NBA....this move may make them look like geniuses or idiots

I'm sure he's gonna change his attitude/become a model citizen/teammate and be very grateful for the opportunity........but for some reason I just don't see him really fitting in there. And God I hope I'm right.

FIXED
He was already a bad GM almost on his way out before making the moves for an older KG and Allen. He did get a championship but this team is not getting any younger and he has not set himself up for the future very well.

I like the last minute moves the Celtics are making. Mikey Moore was a nice pickup and will bring energy, rebounding, and defense off of the bench. Sorry Big Baby looks like you'll be loosing some time. If they can snag Marbury they will be able to slowly phase him in and if all goes well they will have a hell of a backup point guard providing ball control, size, and a 3 point shot.
I wonder if they saw how well Skip fit in in Orlando or afraid they may not have the depth to beat out the emerging Celtics and Magic this year.

depending if suckbury has actually been staying in condition during his time off, this is a brilliant move imo.
a solid on the ball defender and strong outside shooting presence were two things the celtics were missing off the bench.
