Wife asked me if owls will use a house?
Damned if I know but what’s the real answer?

There are two that hang around our backyard and she wants to house them.
Guess it’s better than people.

I built a wooden house using Wood Duck house plan and put it in a tree in my yard.I was thinking a squirrel would use it.
A Screech Owl moved into it in just a few days.

Net says 20’-30’ high and we have zero trees in backyard
Same reason I haven’t installed a bat house.

I have a tree guy with a lift coming next week to take a dead pine out and I’m going to ask him to hang my bat box with that thing. 30’ up in a ladder is a bad idea generally speaking
