Was Ky runner tagged out in the face by Serna same dude who stared down LSU pitcher?

I absolutely hope so and will perceive it that way even if it wasn’t. That’s why I’m perfectly fine with the obnoxious bat flip. Should have launched it to the 3rd base dugout.

When Guidry has his swagger, he’s unstoppable. Is it just me, or does he crumble when the opponent matches his energy? Noticed it first with ULL and yesterday Kentucky.

I went back and watched just to see last night. He walked 3 times in a row, the first one being the long pause and stare. The second two were these weird cocky bat tosses while holding his hand out for a time after the toss. The third walk ended up being the KO tag to the face. Last two ABs he struck out looking

My favorite moment (besides the bat flip obviously) was later in the game when UK catcher tried to apply and unnecessarily hard tag on the runner as "retribution" and it caused the ball to fall out .
It was subtle but you could tell he put a little extra juice on the tag and it blew up in his face.

Will Marcy is a LSU Hero. My guy went 0-2 with 3 walks, and a nice missed pop late in the ballgame. Who can forget getting his lunch eaten at the plate. Glad he got his staring practice in, has to stare in the mirror rest of the week.

That's why he needs to stay in the pen. You can come out with your hair on fire and give max effort when you're only going an inning or two. Can't do that as a starter.
