Serna has been hitting better of late. Cade and Serna are both not very good defensively. The tie breaker is probably hitting. I suspect Cade will still get his chances in resting Serna or if Serna slips at all.

He has had an injury from what I recall mentioned during a presser.

He was looking great in the beginning of the season, and Johnson has always been effusive in praising his potential. I would have to think that he’s sitting due to injury or compounding struggles (maybe a mix of both), I’m sure he’s going to get back in the lineup before too long.

Certainly not a good start. He’s not normally a starter though. That makes a difference. He’s been better from the bullpen.

Yeah he has a hole in his glove.and butter on his fingers. Serna is better at the plate and behind the dish.
