Any chance Iran gives us another gift and lets some other ships pass?

Why is it a gift as Trump claims when Iran allows ships of non-allies to pass through the strait? Is the US able to get the cargo indirectly somehow?

Be interesting to see how the market reacts. WTI futures sitting at $100 and Brent at $113. Reports have stated that Iran wants sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, which is something they have not asked for until now. They realize what a weapon the Strait is.
