Just like he has been doing since Trump was sworn in.

The senate will hold pro forma sessions every three days during their Easter break. The first one is Monday.

quote:

Pro forma sessions are brief meetings held by Congress, typically every three days, during recess periods to prevent the president from making recess appointments. This practice allows Congress to maintain a presence and avoid official adjournment while members are away.

This mother fricker

He may as well as just switch parties, he in no way represents the people who put 47 in power. If there's anything Trump has on him, use it

Which appointments, specifically, do you believe are worthy of a recess appointment?

So you believe the best path is to block his appointments? Thank you for outing yourself.

Try answering the question.

Copied from a post I made last night:

quote:

Trump is ahead of where Biden was in that regard at this point in the term. He is also well ahead of where he was at this point in his first term.

Which appointments are you most concerned with at this point?

ETA: Trump has had 75 more confirmations than Biden had at the same point. Trump has had 104 more appointees confirmed compared to the same point in his first term.

Would love for Thune (or hell, even some GOP voter on this board who maybe supports what Thune is doing) to explain how this represents the GOP constituency.

And him having more is relevant how? Winning every swing state and the popular should in theory allow him to carry out his agenda and appointments. Unfortunately we’ve got tds riddled cucks like yourself in the senate

Which outstanding appointments are worthy of a recess appointment?

It is a simple question, but maybe not for you.

As much as the DC Uniparty establishment hates Trump, they hate street level Americans who identify as America First/MAGA 10x.

Aren’t there a litany of judicial appointments we’re missing because of this?

Yep, incapable of answering a simple question regarding a subject he is, allegedly, heavily invested in and hung up over.

Carry on, child.

Everybody blames Thune and he is no conservative but it isn’t Thune that is the real problem. It’s Murkowski and the goofball from Nebraska along with a handful of other Rino’s who he doesn’t want to put on record for voting against them so he shields them with the excuse of the filibuster
