If it were anything other than a muslim country, I wouldn't question this reasoning.
Those muslims live to die in service to their god... that makes me supremely uneasy, even with the Magnificent Orange at the helm.
If anyone knows what the right way way to go is though, it's Trump.

I’m sure they want to make a deal, the same as the U.S. govt now wants a deal. They didn’t expect this to drag on for over a month, they thought it would be like Venezuela. The original stated goal was regime change, and Trump said he would pick the leader. Now they’re saying the objective was to eliminate Iran’s nuclear capabilities, which we were told already happened after Midnight Hammer.
Trump is never, ever going to admit that things aren’t going well. He’s never admitted defeat in his entire life, but it’s time to cut our losses before we waste any more time, money, or American lives on Israel’s projects.

This is too myopic. That may be true of the radicalized troops that take to the field of battle, but like in all wars, this isn't true of the people who actually call the shots. If they truly believed this stuff they would have never resumed power to begin with.
The people in charge are in the business of staying in charge. And as such, they don't want to see their entire control infrastructure blown to shite.
They may have a lot of radicals that are willing to die for the cause, but they are not.
