From yesterday, but just a reminder of what this means for LSU basketball

quote:

And LSU, again, a program that since Will Wade has left has not been nationally relevant, is about to be nationally relevant. LSU with Will Wade is a program that you are going to see on your social media feed all April and May involved with some of the best transfers in the country.
quote:

LSU is a program that you are going to hear about when people talk about the top of the SEC and the best rosters in the SEC. And I don't know who they're getting yet, but I can tell you this. They are going to put together a team that is going to be worthy, worthy of being in a situation where it's going to be ranked in the top 25 to start next season

The reason I like Jon Rothstein as much as I do, is because of his stance on Wade. Rothstein was the first, and likely one of the only media talking heads that praised Wade, and never threw him out to the wolves when the wiretap happened. The reason I even know who Rothstein is, is because of his Wade stance. Rothstein gets it.

Rothstein is the best college basketball reporter in the business. Mainly because he's not a partisan hack, but also just because of his extensive knowledge of the landscape and history of college basketball.
