Skenes basically had to pitch perfect last season to even have a chance of winning. It will be nice seeing Skenes pick up some wins, when he comes out a little more sluggish for him, and gives up 2-3 runs in a 6-7 inning game, as opposed to basically having to pitch 6-7 innings of 1 run or shutout baseball.

Paul struggling I think the WBC has taken its toll. Two full counts walks both and two dink dunk hits in the first inning. Mets have bases loaded one out and have already scored one in the first.

Skenes with 2 walks and a HBP. Cruz woefully misplayed the ball with bases loaded but Skenes was the opposite of sharp today.
