What are you talking?

10-8 was this season’s middle of the pack SEC record.

That seems like a stretch. The league is pretty good. I’d go with 8-10

Would have to see roster first wouldn’t you?

Not really, Vanderbilt went from 4-14 to 8-10 year one with their coach two years ago.

Quick turnarounds easily happen in basketball; not suffering through a 17-55 four year SEC record.

It hasn’t even started yet. Wade hasn’t even been officially hired yet to my knowledge. Has McMahon been fired yet? Wade did pretty well with his portal recruiting last season, he’ll need to do that again this season. Perhaps with a little more length on the roster this time

11-7 would be quite an impressive mark in this league, but I'll wait to start putting expectations on year 1 until after we see who we're getting in tPortal

Ah, so no knowledge of the roster is necessary to estimate a conference win total. Because Vanderbilt had a 4 game improvement 2 years ago.

You have to assume the floor is higher than 3 of the last 4 seasons here at LSU.

9-9 in today's SEC is impressive. Texas went 9-9 and they're in the Sweet 16

Wade’s recruiting track record at LSU when he was here gives him the benefit of the doubt.

Wade went 8-10 after following JJ’s 2-16 conference record the year before.

Wade has the benefit of the doubt from me that we won’t be 2-16, 3-15 anymore. Recruits follow the money now more than ever. It’s different than it was last time he was here. I know he can hack it. He’s a charismatic guy who’s willing to do what it takes. All I even said was you need to see the roster before you set a line for conference wins.
